Head of Partnerships & Events (Busan)

NomadHer, a global travel app for female globetrotters who believe that adventure and challenges lead to personal growth, is hiring a Head of Partnerships & Event Coordination in Busan. Since 2019, we’ve hosted inspiring community events in cities like Paris, San Francisco, Seoul, and New Delhi—featuring female entrepreneurs, musicians, artists, and adventurous travelers.

Since 2023, NomadHer has been leading various programs and community events centered around Busan, including surf camps for female travelers. We are now looking for a team member to take the lead in continuously managing and expanding the NomadHer Surf Festival and related events based in Busan.

For the second half of 2025, we are seeking someone who can take full responsibility for planning, operations, administration, and partnership management — all centered around Busan — in collaboration with local partners and government agencies.

As this role involves collaboration with various Korean partners and government agencies, written & oral native level fluency in Korean is MUST required, alongside business-level English proficiency to communicate with NomadHer’s multinational team and community members. We are looking for someone who can work with our business development team to create a recurring business model through events, manage on-site operations, and scale our impact.

• Proven experience in planning and executing global events for 100 to 1,000+ attendees.
• Demonstrated ability to transform community events into a revenue-generating model through strategic partnerships.
• Extensive experience in establishing and managing successful partnerships with major brand sponsors.
• Proficient in collaborating with stage designers and creative teams to actualize innovative concepts.
• Experienced in identifying and securing global speakers and developing festival marketing strategies for international audiences.
• Skilled in overseeing programs involving multinational volunteers.
• Understanding of financial and administrative protocols, including communication with partners and Korean government officials.
• Strong aptitude for documenting post-event follow-ups and generating detailed budget reports.
• Exceptional creative storytelling capabilities to effectively convey the festival's message and impact through compelling content.

💡Why does NomadHer host Festivals and Community Events?

We’ve thought deeply about branding—how to effectively deliver our mission and message to as many women as possible. We host inspiring offline events to empower more women travelers who gather on our app. We aim to hold annual NomadHer Festivals in key global cities such as Paris, Seoul, and Delhi. In 2025 (Seoul & Paris) and 2026 (Seoul & Paris), we’re planning events in meaningful spaces that embody our values.

Beyond the app, NomadHer is creating spaces and opportunities for global women travelers to connect, feel safe, and be inspired.

🧩 How does NomadHer work?

We operate in a hybrid format—online and offline. For this festival planner role, hybrid work with other Seoul-based team members is essential. Because you’ll need to check on-site progress and meet stakeholders, travel between Seoul and Busan will be required.

We do a daily standup (15–30 min) to share yesterday’s task, today’s tasks, and any blockers. Outside of that, working hours are flexible. Our general workday is from before 10 AM to before 7 PM for Korea-based team members. We log in and log out via Slack.

노매드헐은 어떤 방식으로 일을 하나요?

• 근무 방식 :
  • 풀타임 원격 근무지만 필요하다면 부산/서울 노매드헐 오피스에 함께 모여 오프라인으로 미팅을 가집니다.
  • 글로벌 팀원들과 영어로 업무 소통하되 한국인 팀원과 한국 오퍼레이션 업무에 있어서는 한국어로 진행합니다.
  • 축제 기획자의 경우 오프라인으로 서울 사무실에서 다른 팀원 분들과의 대면 미팅을 하게 되고 현장에서 직접 상황을 체크하고 또 다양한 관계자들을 만나야 하는 부분으로 인해 부산, 제주, 서울 등의 출장 및 이동이 가능한 팀원을 찾고 있습니다.
• 근무 시간 :
  • 기본적으로는 한국 시간 오전 10시에 데일리 스탠드업 미팅을 비즈니스 & 커뮤니티 개발팀과 가지게 되며 매일 8시간 근무 + 1시간 휴식시간을 원칙으로 하고 있습니다.
  • 이벤트가 주말에 발생하는 경우도 있어 주말 근무 혹은 저녁에 근무에 유동적으로 가능하신 분을 찾고 있어요. 주말 근무에 대해서는 대체 휴일 및 휴식 시간이 주어질 예정입니다.
  • 매일 Daily Standup을 통해서 어제 한 일, 오늘 하게 될 일, 그리고 막히는 부분에 대해 15분에서 30분 남짓이 미팅이 있습니다.
