Every June, cities around the globe celebrate the inclusive and vibrant energy of Fête de la Musique, a global music festival born in France. Between June 15th and June 23rd, the Cultural Service of the French Embassy in Korea and the Institute Français invited local venues and organizers to showcase the richness and diversity of French music. On June 14th, 2025, NomadHer enthusiastically joined this global movement, transforming the rooftop of Seoul’s vibrant RYSE Hotel into a haven of music, creativity, and meaningful connections under the theme, "Women's Voices Through French Music."
At NomadHer, our mission is to empower solo female travelers by providing safe, inclusive, and inspiring experiences. This day became an essential gathering point for women worldwide to connect, share stories, and amplify their voices through music, art, and cultural exchange.
We are deeply grateful for the Cultural Service of the French Embassy in Korea, whose generous support was pivotal in making this event possible. Their involvement provided crucial financial assistance and added significant cultural credibility, attracting passionate artists and supportive partners who share our vision. This collaboration beautifully highlighted the importance of women’s voices in the arts, fostering cultural understanding and a deeper global solidarity.
This operation is supported by the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs and the French Institute as part of the strategy for the international export of cultural and creative industries.

Our second-year collaboration with RYSE Hotel was truly special. Located in Seoul's lively Hongdae district, RYSE Hotel is renowned for its welcoming and supportive environment, especially for solo female travelers.
Their rooftop bar, SIDE NOTE, with a capacity of up to 180 guests, provided the perfect setting for an evening of empowerment, creative expression, and meaningful connection across cultures. This unforgettable night with NomadHer wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support of RYSE Hotel.
If you're visiting Seoul, be sure to stop by their rooftop and explore their unique rooms, it’s the perfect place to elevate your travel experience in Korea.
The event began with a vibrant rooftop yoga session led by Macie from Flow Yoga, as the golden summer light bathed the Hongdae skyline.
DJ Goldline curated an ambient set infused with hip-hop rhythms and French-inspired sounds, creating a dreamy soundscape that guided every breath and movement. The scene felt both grounding and uplifting, a rare moment of energetic and calm in the heart of the city.
Each participant received personalized yoga wear from our partner, Positive Me, a sustainable activewear brand that truly embodies our shared values of conscious, mindful living.
As the sun began to cool and cast a golden glow over the city, participants settled into the breezy summer air, feeling more at ease in their movements. Guided by Macie’s gentle presence, the rooftop yoga session became a moment of calm and clarity amid the city’s energy.
Laughter, stillness, and the soft hum of music wove through the summer air, setting a soulful tone for the rest of the evening.
It was the kind of summer evening you wish would never end, where time slows down, and every detail lingers just a little longer.
As the evening progressed, Coral The Animal took the stage, captivating attendees with her unique blend of bass, beats, and groove. Known for her role in Seoul’s acclaimed R&B event Kiss & Ride, Coral seamlessly wove classic French melodies with soulful rhythms, creating an atmosphere that was both electric and intimate.
As her set pulsed through the rooftop, meaningful conversations began to bloom, some attendees were longtime residents of Korea, others were solo female travelers just passing through the city, and many simply met by chance that night.
Yet in that shared space, they found each other, exchanging stories, ideas, and laughter. The power of connection, sisterhood, and unexpected networking filled the air, embodying the very essence of NomadHer.
As the sun dipped below the rooftops of Seoul, Sehee lit up the evening with a bold, colorful set that got everyone moving. Her energy pulled people in, not just to the music, but to each other.
Conversations started easily, stories were shared, and the rooftop felt alive with connection.
At NomadHer, we’re solo travelers, we're used to exploring new places, meeting new people, and doing things on our own. But deep down, many of us are still hoping to find someone who just gets it. Someone we can talk to about more than travel tips.
That’s what this night became. Our different backgrounds, histories, dreams, even just sharing the present moment, all of it came together.
None of it mattered in terms of where we came from or how we got there. What mattered was that, somehow, we found each other.
Grace Kim, returning to NomadHer after her unforgettable performances at our Busan event and previous DJ night in Seoul in 2024, delivered a breathtaking finale that left a lasting impression.
Her unique blend of global beats, original compositions, and soulful energy turned the rooftop into a space of pure magic.
As the stars rose above Seoul and the music soared, NomadHers danced together, moving in sync, lost in the rhythm, and wrapped in the moment. Laughter echoed through the air, hands reached for the sky, and for those few hours, nothing else mattered. Everyone was fully present, soaked in music, starlight, and the kind of freedom that only shared joy can bring.
Grace’s presence always brings light, joy, and an inspiring spark to NomadHer and opens hearts. Her set beautifully embodied everything Women’s DJ Night: Fête de la Musique stands for: the celebration of women’s voices, the creation of safe, joyful spaces, and the powerful cultural exchange between Korea and France.
It was a night that reminded us, we’re never truly alone when we move together through music.
When the final song faded, no one wanted it to end. It was hard to say goodbye to a night that had become so much more than an event, a night where friendships formed, stories were shared, and women found a space where they felt seen, supported, and free.
This event was a gathering of intention, care, and shared values. Each of our brand partners played a meaningful role in creating an experience that our community will remember for a long time. These collaborations went far beyond partnership, they reflected a shared vision for what it means to empower women, support mindful travel, and celebrate beauty in all its forms.
We were honored to collaborate with L’Oréal Group, whose elegant Giorgio Armani Privé perfume mini sets added a touch of timeless scent to the evening. These gifts were a celebration of presence, confidence, and self love.
Watching women receive these perfumes was a beautiful reminder that small details can leave a deep emotional impact. L’Oréal’s support elevated the experience, aligning perfectly with our vision to remind every woman at NomadHer that she is worthy of elegance and care. Their belief in our mission added both prestige and heart to the event.
OHMIA’s nourishing skincare offerings brought a thoughtful, grounding energy to the night. In the rush of modern life, especially for solo travelers constantly adapting to new places, OMIA products offered a moment to pause, to care, and to breathe.
They offered NomadHer a quiet invitation to take care of themselves. This kind of subtle empowerment, rooted in wellness and restoration, is exactly the kind of partnership we treasure. Their presence helped us create an atmosphere where beauty and healing could coexist.
ReSaltZ provided calming bath salts that reminded us how essential it is to rest, even in the most exciting of adventures.
For many of our participants, frequent travelers, creatives, women balancing life between cultures, the idea of taking a restorative bath is often overlooked. ReSaltZ helped bring that intention back into focus. Their gift was a gentle nudge toward balance, and a reflection of what it means to care for one’s body and soul while navigating a busy, beautiful life.
Melixir’s vegan sunscreen stood as a symbol of our shared values, sustainability, health, and responsibility. In a space filled with movement and energy, Melixir offered protection in the most thoughtful form.
Their dedication to clean, vegan beauty made a strong impression on our community of women who care deeply about the way they travel and the footprint they leave behind. More than a sunscreen, it was a daily reminder that beauty can be ethical, empowering, and globally conscious. We were so proud to have Melixir on board as a brand that leads by example.
Positive Me brought something truly special to the rooftop. By gifted yoga wear designed with sustainability and function in mind, they made NomadHer participants feel strong, confident, and comfortable in their bodies.
Their full team showed up with open hearts and generosity, helping each participant feel personally supported. The additional activewear gift vouchers were an extension of Positive Me’s philosophy: that movement is an act of self-love, and fashion can be a force for good.
Their presence helped transform our yoga session into a celebration of intentional, joyful living.
As always, we made sure every woman felt welcomed and cared for, through special edition tote bags symbolizing safe travel “She Can Travel Anywhere", community, and shared strength, refreshing drinks, and exclusive perks at RYSE Hotel.
These were part of a larger story we’re building together, one where women from every walk of life can gather, feel seen, and feel proud of who they are and how they move through the world. We hold space and we’re endlessly thankful for the NomadHer partners who help us do it with love.
The NomadHer raffle added an exciting moment of surprise and delight, generously supported by our amazing brand partners, OHMIA, Melixir, ReSaltZ, and Positive Me.
Each partner shared their inspiring stories and provided exclusive gifts that deeply resonated with our attendees.
Additionally, three lucky winners received the opportunity to join future NomadHer camps, further enriching our shared mission of empowering women through solo travel and meaningful community connections.
We can’t wait to meet you all again!
